                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF HARDY STREET MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN ON FRIDAY, JULY 27, 1990
                   FOR THE RENAMING OF THE HARRIET TUBMAN
                   DEVELOPMENT UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE
                   HARRIET TUBMAN RESIDENT ASSOCIATION AND THE
                   CHATTANOOGA HOUSING AUTHORITY.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Hardy Street between Roanoke Street and
       Hickory Street on Friday, July 27, 1990 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00
       p.m. for the purpose of conducting a celebration for the renaming 

       of the Harriet Tubman Development under the sponsorship of the
       Harriet Tubman Resident Association and the Chattanooga Housing
       Authority provided that the sponsors shall set out and pick up
       flasher barricades and traffic signs in accordance with the
       traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide at all
       times, an access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
